Já que se fala de coisas novas mas antigas, dou aqui um pequeno contributo através de uma grande música: "Good Thoughts, Bad Thoughts" dos Funkadelic. Todos saberão certamente que os Funkadelic (irmãos ou mesmo clones dos Parliament) são uma banda de Funky & Soul, fundada, alimentada, (per)fumada e mantida pelo excêntrico Geoge Clinton - uma espécie de guru destes estilos musicais. Não sei se já disse, mas tive a oportunidade de os ver na Casa da Música em Junho. Apesar das enormes limitações físicas de George Clinton (consta que já teve uma série de enfartes e nota-se que transpira colesterol), foi um concerto fantástico, diria mesmo inesquecível. Houve ali grandes guitarradas, grandes vozes, muitos blues, muita dança e sobretudo muita insanidade (há ali algo de Zappa ao vivo...). Bem, passemos ao tema:
