Pink Floyd - Paintbox

Agora que saiu uma mega-caixa de raridades dos Floyd The Early Years 1965-72 (amigos, o Natal está à porta!), sabe bem voltar a ouvir os primeiros singles do grupo, da era de Syd Barrett. Este Paintbox é um dos meus temas favoritos dos PF. Bem lá no início, Rick Wright, tão mal tratado depois por Roger Waters, que o pôs fora da banda e o usou como músico contratado (!), faz deste tema uma relíquia de subtileza e movimento - ao que muito ajuda o também subestimado Mason, que cria mais um dos seus transportes rítmicos únicos.
